Usage
The first thing to realise is that these particular off-road scooters ARE NOT TOYS AND ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR USE BY CHILDREN. They are not street-legal without extensive modifications. In most parts of the world, it is unlawful to use any form of motorized transportation on the sidewalk or public footpath. Use is only permitted on private land with the permission of the land-owner. If you need to use public highways, you should purchase a scooter designed for such use. Never let children use the scooter. Never leave the scooter unsupervised in the presence of children.

Never travel faster than is safe for the current riding conditions. Braking distances will increase on wet surfaces or surfaces covered with oil or gravel. Never use the scooter on a downhill gradient of more than 10%. Make sure that you mix your fuel oil combination in a ratio of 20:1 in a well ventilated area away from from naked flames. Never fill the gasoline (fuel) tank with the engine warm or hot. Ensure the filler cap is replaced securely on the gasoline tank after use.

Always wear safety protection inlcuding a motorcycle-standard approved helmet, gloves, elbow and knee protection.
Pre Riding Checks
Always check the brakes, handbar locking mechanism, seat adjustment (where supplied) and chain tension before each ride and ensure you maintain your scooter to the standards outlined in the manual supplied.
